I’m a foodie – my air fryer Yorkshire pudding dessert always sparks debate but it’s quick, easy & perfect for Christmas | The Sun

WHEN we think of Yorkshire puddings, the first thing to spring to mind is a hearty Sunday roast with gallons of gravy on top.

But what if you used this British classic for a dessert, something to enjoy at the grand finale of your Christmas dinner?


Well, one foodie thought of just that, creating the ultimate Lotus Biscoff Yorkshire puds with raspberries.

The recipe, shared by @thisisplanetfood on TikTok, seems to have become a favourite in many households and we're sure your family will love this sweet treat just as much.

For this, depending on how many hungry eaters there are, you'll need Yorkshire puddings, raspberries, Biscoff spread, a bit of powdered sugar and the star of the show – air fryer.

As demonstrated in the step-by-step tutorial, start by chucking your puds into the appliance for four minutes at 200C.

Whilst they're cooking, add a punnet of fresh raspberries to a shallow bowl and mash them with a fork.

Once the Yorkshire puddings are ready fill them with the mashed raspberries and add a generous drizzle of melted Lotus spread – the more, the better, of course.

To make sure the spread's set and not making a mess everywhere, place the tray inside the fridge for 30 minutes.

Then finish of with a few raspberries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top.

Nonetheless, the unusual sweet treat had also found new fans, many of whom tagged their mates and vowed to give the recipe a go.
