HAVE you ever wished you could upgrade your bedroom without having to splash the cash?
Well, now you can do just that thanks to some simple but effective tips from a home guru – and it’s all about how you style your bed.
Amanda Albrecht, aka TikTok’s @sellingthesuburbs, specialises in offering budget friendly hacks and tricks.
In one of her most recent posts, Amanda filled her 173,200 followers in on the rules she follows to ensure her bedroom looks its best at all time.
She explained: “Here’s how to elevate your bedroom just by styling your bed.”
Amanda revealed: “First you should upsize all of your sheeting – [for instance] Queen beds should get a King-sized sheet.” This ensures they stay tightly on the bed at all times and tuck completely under the sides of the bed.

Next, Amanda said you should move onto “wrapping your bed in a quilt” so that the cover also goes over the entire length and width.
Amanda explained she’d bought her quilted blanket – complete with a linen diamond stitch – in US bargain store Target, but there are plenty of similarly budget friendly ones on the high street.
Then it’s time to focus on the thing that will really elevate your space – the pillows.
Amanda continued: “I add three 24 by 24 euro pillows to the top that match the quilt.

But that’s not the only thing that will go at the base of the bed, as Amanda also topped it with a textured throw, before adding a further two pillows and a lumbar to complete the look.
And her followers lapped up the look, describing it as “gorgeous”, while another chimed in saying they “loved” the finished space.
