THERE’S nothing worse than waking up on the day of a big event, to see that a big red spot has appeared on your face.

While many of us will scramble for the concealer and attempt to cover it up, often this can actually make things worse and barely cover the spot, if at all.

But thanks to one beauty fan, Kirsty Belle, concealing spots is now a lot easier.

Kirsty took to TikTok to reveal her simple but effective technique that she learnt at makeup school, that covers up spots every time.

She hailed her technique as “the BEST spot concealing method” and uploaded her tutorial video with the caption ‘spot concealing 101’.

She said: “I genuinely think spot concealing was one of the hardest things I had to learn how to do when I was starting with makeup.

“I’m very lucky that I don’t get spots too often but I got this one the other day, I picked it, and let’s just say it didn’t go well.

“I feel there’s a gaping hole in my face.

“So before we start, we want our face to be super sticky, so I’m using the Nivea post-shave balm.

“The thing I always found hardest with spot concealing is that the texture of your skin is actually very different to the texture of the rest of your skin, so you want to take that into consideration.

“So you want to dab a lot of product on there – yes it’s lighter than my skin but when we do foundation it will be fine.

“Then what you want to do is tap around the corners of the concealer to blend it in with the rest of your skin.

“Don’t go over the spot itself.

“Once you feel that there are no harsh lines with the rest of your skin, you can go and lightly tap over the spot itself.

“It’s all covered but let’s just go in with foundation anyway – and here are the end results”.

Kirsty shows off the end results and we are very impressed – not only does her makeup look flawless, but you would never be able to notice that she has a spot.

At the time of writing, Kirsty’s video had been posted to TikTok just two days ago, and has quickly racked up a whopping 304.4k views.

It has 38.1k likes, 16 comments and 42 shares.

Makeup fans were grateful for the useful tip and quickly rushed to the comments to express this.
