THERE are about a million and one cleaning hacks out there to tackle anything from scratched-up floors to pesky water stains.

But cleaning experts are still coming up with new ways to make every area in your home sparkle like new.


Brandon, a janitor and self-proclaimed "clean freak," shared in a video three cheap cleaning tips, which you may have never heard before.

First, Brandon used Bar Keeper's Friend Soft Cleanser and a Scrub Mommy, which will only cost you $2.72and $4.89, respectively, for a stained shower door.

The cleanfluencer wrote: "This is my go-to for hard water stains.

"The key is to let it sit for 15 minutes."

Next, Brandon shared a tip that parents of young children will surely want to remember.

"For slime on carpet, I use white vinegar and scoop with a spoon then dab with a towel and rinse, and then it's gone," he said.

For dried-on slime, Brandon recommended letting the vinegar sit for at least five minutes.

Finally, Brandon shared a tip for those looking to easily rid their sofas of odor.

He explained: "For stinky cushions, I spray with white vinegar, put it in a garbage bag, then suck all of the air out.

"Let it sit for four to six hours, take it out, and let it air-dry."

Luckily, white vinegar can be bought for as little as $0.69, making Brandon's tips not only efficient but also super cheap.

The pro added that if you don't like the smell of vinegar, simply swap it out for your favorite deodorizer.
