PARENTING is full of ups and downs but according to a professional photographer, it’s the messy moments that make for the best memories.

Anne Geddes, 65, best top tip when it comes to capturing the ‘perfect’ picture of your baby is to not try too hard and that relaxing is key.

The photographer, who is based in New York and from Australia, says the biggest mistake is over styling shots and adding heavy filters.

Speaking to FEMAIL, she said “My images have always been about the babies, their life and their promise.

“People need to relax, be themselves and post images which are more realistic – it is a small thing that will help everyone.

“When it comes to babies, for photoshoots, the truth is you can't make them do anything, you have to watch and capture it as it happens.”
