NO ONE enjoys dusting, but it's just one of those annoying chores that everyone has to do.

But according to this cleaning pro, loads of us are making life harder for ourselves by dusting all wrong.

Melissa Maker knows all there is to know about cleaning, but just like you, she hates doing it.

She shared a genius trick that will make dusting quicker and easier to do, so you can get back to doing more exciting things.

She said: "Most people don't know how to dust professionally or properly.

"In fact, dusting incorrectly can waste time and make your cleaning efforts futile."

Melissa explained that the eight fold trick is they key to dusting like a pro.

She said: "Professional cleaners have a trick where they fold their cloth into quarters and that gives them eight cleaning surfaces."

This works loads better than just holding the cloth flat to dust, or scrunching it up in your hand.

"When you divide it into quarters like this you're giving yourself eight surfaces so when one gets dirty, you flip it over."

This will save you having to constantly clean your cloth so you can dust faster.

Melissa added that a microfibre cloth works bet for this hack, and for dusting in general.

"A microfibre cloth can hold eight times it's weight in water and and even more in dust.

"That means that one cloth is going to get you a lot of mileage, as long as you use the folding trick."
