“Note, this will NOT work if your berries are too ripe or mushy, to begin with. Just eat them!

“Two, how to store peeled garlic and keep it crisp!

“Peeled garlic is best used right away, but if you have extra, I’ve found that the best way to keep it fresh and crisp is to pop the cloves into a container filled with water, then cover and refrigerate. Use within two weeks.⁣

“Three, how to prevent sliced apples from browning for up to five days! Perfect if you like to meal prep and slice your apples for the week.

“Slice apples, and place them in a bowl with cold water and one to two teaspoons salt.

“Let soak for five minutes. Rinse, then store in a covered container and pop in the fridge.

“Four, how to keep your lettuce fresh for up to two weeks! The key is to NOT wash the lettuce before storing it.

“Wrap in paper towels and then place in a plastic bag or a Stasher bag. Squeeze the air out and store it. Wash the lettuce when you are ready to eat.⁣

“Five, how to keep your herbs fresh for up to one month! Use this method for parsley, cilantro, and any other herbs.

“Wash and trim the ends. Dry thoroughly. Pop them in a mason jar filled halfway with water.

“You can pop them in the fridge like this (will last one to two weeks), but you can add a plastic bag or a Stasher bag on top and they will last for almost one month! ⁣

“Six, how to prevent your cucumbers from getting slimy!

“Pop them in a container, add a quarter teaspoon baking soda (very little!), cover with cold water, cover, and refrigerate. Crisp for up to 1 week.⁣”
