I’m a savvy supermarket shopper & got a bargain haul from Farm Foods – their potatoes are a steal & chocs are cheap too | The Sun

A FOODIE has shared how she picked up the ultimate bargain haul from one of her new favourite food shops.

TikTok user Lauren, aka @laurenrollsxx, filmed herself visiting her local Farm Foods store to see how much money she could save – and came out laughing.

Lauren, whose posts have amassed an impressive following of 98.8k followers, shared a video on her profile titled: “A trip to Farm Foods for pizza fingers.”

She picked up three packets of these in the Cheese and Tomato flavour – a great deal of 3 for £6.

However, once Lauren started browsing the aisles of the British supermarket that specialises in frozen food and groceries, she got much more than she bargained for.

As she grabbed a basket, the camera captured her purchases, as Lauren also showed how cheap everything was on the shelves.

The frozen section was particularly impressive, as Lauren stocked up on a wide array of frozen potatoes starting at just over a £1.

Showing she couldn’t get enough of the selection, Lauren picked up several bags.

These included Birds Eye hash brown waffles for £2.50 and £1.49 potato smileys.

She also bought some £1.19 Alphabet potatoes.

Other popular items in the frozen section were turkey dinosaurs, turkey drummers, and Bernard Matthews’ cheesy hamwiches.

Meanwhile, lots of the sweet snacks also caught Lauren’s eye – and the chocolates were equally a steal.

This ranged from a 10 pack of Chupa Chup Strawberry Triangle Freeze Pops for 99p to some Aero mint mini eggs for Easter for £1.25.

They also sell the Squeeze it lollipops for 69p, M&M mini eggs, and £1 Crispy Rolls, which are similar to the Milky Way ones.

They also stock all the popular chocolate bars, including 75p big bars of Aero and 69p Cadbury’s.

But one of the best deals in the shop was a 42g packet of Guylian belgian chocolates for just 49p.

Lauren also got some after school snacks for her children, including 59p animal chocolates.

And there were plenty more big name brands gracing the shelves – from Wagon Wheels to Maryland.

Lauren was clearly thrilled with everything she bought, and happily tapped her card to pay the £29.20 total and told her followers she was “obsessed.”

And her followers couldn’t get enough either.
