I'm a size 18 and spent £250 in Primark on a huge holiday haul – I found the best beach coverup and a bargain SKIMS dupe | The Sun

A PRIMARK superfan has revealed everything she bought in a huge £250 haul ahead of her babymoon – including a bargain SKIMS dupe.

Meg also found three beach cover-ups which are perfect for around the pool, and a range of bargain sandals to complete her looks.

Known online as @meggsih, the mum-to-be regularly shares plus-size fashion hauls with her 7,500 followers.

In a new TikTok reel, she said: “I spent £250 in Primark so the only way I can justify that is by showing you what I got.

“So the things you need to know: I go on holiday in a week, I’m 25 weeks pregnant, usually a size 18 to 20, obviously bump makes that slightly different.

“Let’s get into it, and strap in because I think this is going to be long.”

During the three-minute video, Meg shares a range of dresses, beach cover-ups, and tops she bought, as well as a range of the discount store’s new-season accessories.

This included the Rib Knit Bodycon Midi Dress, priced at just £16, and the TikTok viral Crochet Midi Dress costing £18.

“First things first… we have this sheer beach shirt which I just thought it would be so easy to throw over any color swimsuit, so we love that.

“I got this cream-knitted beach dress. The straps on this aren’t adjustable which makes me a little bit skeptical, but this was £16, I got it in an XL.

“Very, very similar I got this cream beach dress which again is knitted. This one is a little bit more see-through, and it’s got little gold flecks.

“But this is a little bit more of holiday vibes. The other one you could probably dress up or down. This one is a little bit more special.”

The keen bargain hunter also bagged a jersey maxi dress that she claimed could be a dupe for the SKIMS Soft Lounge Sleeveless Long Dress, priced at £82.

She continued: “We have the SKIMS dupe dress, which is this very soft material maxi dress.

“I actually ended up wearing this yesterday and it was so cozy on.

“I got this in an XL, I could have gone down to a large, however, I want it for as bump grows and postpartum and because it’s going to be very, very warm when baby’s here.

“So that’s that one which is really cute.”

She also recommended mums-to-be check out Primark’s newest collection of swimwear, after picking up the Crinkle Texture Scoop Back Swimsuit, now £12.

“I tried on all my swimsuits the other day and none of them fit over bump, so I’ve ordered a couple of maternity ones, but I also saw this one in a XXL which I thought might work.

“It’s a really thick, double-lined, ribbed material so I’m hoping, as long as this doesn’t compress too much on the stomach, I thought that was a really, really cute colour."

In another video, she shared all the accessories and shoes she also picked up in the bargain store.

“Starting with this nightie. This beautiful green, satin nightie. This is more of a hospital bag find because I am giving birth in July. It’s going to be very, very warm so I was thinking if I have to walk around the hospital, I’d like to have something semi-nice to do so in.

“I also got this green matching robe which is just beautiful. I love the colours in those.

"They’ll also be really nice post-partum as something loose fitting but also feels a little bit luxurious because if there’s a time you deserve luxury, it’s when you’ve just given birth.”

Meg also nabbed multiple pairs of shoes, including the Chunky Mesh Low-Top Trainers in white, also £16, and some bargain flatform flip flops.

She added: “I bought four different pairs of shoes. I got these white trainers. I have these in the grey and the blue and I just wanted to get them in the white because they are so comfy.

“I got platform sandals in pink, platform sandals in black and these faux leather shoes just to keep at work because we are now moving out of boot season and I love it.”

The savvy shopper also bought some face masks, SPF face drops, and a case for her sunglasses, along with some travel bottles to hold her toiletries.

Although her favourite accessory was the Mixed Chain Shoulder Bag in orange, a total steal at just £9.

“This little orange bag which I just thought was so freaking cute, and it’s such a soft faux leather.

“I’ve been after an orange bag for a while and that one just really fits the bill.”

Fans loved her bargain haul, with the video gaining more than 1,180 likes and 86,700 views.
