A WOMAN has revealed that she and her mum did a mega Sainsbury’s clothing haul for Autumn.

But Poppy Adams, who is a size 22, was left with mixed reviews at her new fashion finds.

However, her mum on the other hand, was very impressed with her new purchases.

Sharing their haul on social media, Poppy posted the clip and said: “Hi, friends. I went to Tu clothing. I bought lots of things. Let's try them on. 

“First off, let's start with this [striped] shirt. The second I saw this, I imagined so many different outfits, and I was like, ‘I need you’.

“I think this shirt is the perfect transitional piece to take you through to the colder months. We can layer, you can have it off the shoulder, you can wear it with jeans, you can wear it with a skirt.

Poppy then modelled what she described as “the perfect autumnal skirt”, as she advised: “Walk, don’t run to Tu clothing. I can see this selling out incredibly quickly.”

Poppy paired her skirt with a brown ribbed top, as she added: “I have to say, the knitwear in Tu at the minute, I wanted everything. 

“I got this in a [size] 20. Am I living my 70s librarian dreams? I think I might be.

“I also picked up this [jumper], which I thought would go with it really well.

“The best thing about the skirt is there are so many colours in it, so there are so many different ways you can wear it.

“This jumper? Absolutely, yes. Oh, my God. Once again, a super soft neck. Not itchy.”

Poppy also tried on a navy v-neck top, as she noted: “I also realised I got this to go with the skirt as well. I love these tops so much.

“Why are they so freaking cute? If you’re going to get anything, get this skirt.”

After this, Poppy tried on a black skirt, as she explained: “That actually fits perfectly. It’s not just plain, it's got a bit of texture in it, but at the same time, will go with literally anything.”

The fashionista also showed off her new cardigan, as she confirmed: “Not a cardigan, girl. I'm trying to fall back into cardigans because I think they're just so cute.

“I love the colour blocking on this. I feel like it would be really cute on someone else. It doesn't feel me, you know?”

Poppy then tried on a black dress, as she revealed: “I'm not mad at that, but I'm not in love with it.

“It feels lovely. I think it might be ageing me.

“I have to say, with styling, you could make this dress look super cool. Leather jacket, boots, DMS. Maybe you can just wear a converse. 

“People that have sensory issues with fabric, you are going to love this dress. It feels like soft loungewear.”

Poppy then called her mum, as she showed her her new green shirt dress.

She continued: “I saw the colour of this, straight in my basket, regardless of the shape.

“Not usually a shirt dress kinda girl, but let's give it a go. 

“Without the belt, it's absolutely shapeless. With the belt – instant difference. It’s giving Christmassy.”

Poppy’s stunning mum then got involved with the haul, as she modelled her new yellow gingham dress.

She confirmed: “It’s really comfy. Soft [fabric].”

Poppy then chimed in: “That looks so nice. Mum doesn't like things too tight on her waist and this is actually perfect because it’s still got definition, but it doesn’t constrict.”

Poppy’s mum then tried on her new lilac cardigan, as Poppy remarked: “Such a nice colour.”

She also modelled Poppy’s black dress, leaving her daughter open-mouthed.

Poppy beamed: “Oh my god, it looks better on you. Maybe a size smaller. It looks so good on you. Do you like it?”

To this, Poppy’s mother replied: “Yeah, I do. It’s really soft. Cosy. It looks nice as well. Not too shabby at all.”

To finish off the haul, Poppy’s mum tried on the colour block cardigan, as Poppy said: “That's so cute on you.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @poppyadams92, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly amassed 23,800 views. 

Social media users were impressed with Poppy and her mum’s haul, and many took to the comments to share their thoughts. 

One person said: “Wow you both look amazing.”

Another added: “Love the stripy shirt and the dresses, your Mum is gorgeous, bless her.”
