WINTER is approaching fast and with November just a few days away temperatures are starting to drop dramatically.

As the weather continues to change, so does our skin.

Cold temperatures can irritate our skin as it has a difficult time keeping in moisture.

This can lead to itchy, dry skin and cracked lips.

To help prepare for the colder months and darker nights, SXCGLO founder, Farnaz Khan, has revealed her secrets to help people achieve a radiant glow during winter.

Farnaz reveals that hydration is important when it comes to looking after your skin, and urges beauty fanatics to drink plenty of water.

"Even though the weather is cooler around this time of year, it’s important to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your skin moisturised and hydrated from the inside out.

"Cutting down on your salt and sugar, avoiding smoking, and limiting your caffeine intake can also help, along with bringing back radiance to your skin.

Farnaz warns people to protect themselves from UV rays during the autumn and winter months as well.

She added: "Our skin is exposed to dirt and toxins in the air and it’s important to protect it from pollution and UV rays.

"Even though the sun might not be as strong, UV rays are still present during the day during the autumn and winter.

"Apply sunscreen with at least an SPF of 30 daily, especially if you are spending time outdoors.
