I’m a style pro – from deflated to round, eight different breast shapes and what bra you should pick for each one | The Sun

DO you ever get annoyed that your bra doesn’t look right or fit perfectly?

A style expert has claimed there are eight different breast shapes and you simply may just be buying the wrong shape for your boobs.

On her Petite Dressing YouTube account, Chi Li said: “When you really need is a bra that first your breast shape.

“Today we are going to look at eight different breast shapes and what is the best bra that fits your breast shape.”

Shape 1 – Wide set breasts

Best bra: Front closure bra

Chi Li advised that if your girls are wide apart, a common issue for you could be "gaps" in the centre of your bra because "most bras are designed for breasts that are close together."

She added: "In the meantime, you may also feel like your breasts are spilling out the sides.

"For you it’s really critical to find bras that offer side support.

"In terms of pushing your girls closer together, my personal favourite: the front closure bras.

"They can guide your girls together and give you that fuller and rounded look even without padding or with very little padding."

Shape 2 – Small breasts

Best bra: Bralette or padded bra

Chi Li said: "If your breasts are small – a cup or b cup – you have the best breast shape for those itty bitty bralettes.

"These are the best option for you as they give you full coverage without weighing you down, especially in summer – that is if you are not looking for volume."

She also advised padded or push-up bras can help with making your boobs look bigger, if that is what you desire.

Shape 3 – Deflated breasts

Best bra: Plunge Bra

Chi explained: "If your girls look deflated this quite common as we go through life, maybe it’s part of ageing or maybe you’ve lost some weight and I noticed this when I was first done with breastfeeding.

"Your girls no longer have the volume you used to have and may look long and pointy downwards."

She recommended a plunge bra as they "make your breasts look like they are lifted and have that naturally lifted and rounded look."

Failing that, you could also try a push-up bra.

Shape 4 – Rounded and full

Best bra: Minimiser bra

Chi Li said: "If your girls are rounded and full for you it’s really important to have the support for your girls without adding any volume.

"So you need a bra that is unwired by unlined.

"Balcony bras is not a good idea for you as you might notice your girls are spilling out on top."

She advised that you want to be reaching for a minimiser bra as you don't need a boost.

Shape 5 – Rounded and not full

Best bra: Unlined, Underwire Bra

Chi Li said that if you are not looking to add volume you can just go with an unlined, underwired bra.

This adds support without adding volume.

She explained: "If you are looking to make them appear fuller, my personal favourite is to go with lightly padded, push-up bras.

"I also love demi bras, plunging necklines, they can push your girls towards the centre even without much padding."

Shape 6 – Teardrop, bell shape

Best bra: Contour Bra

Chi Li continued: "If your girls have the shapes of teardrops that means your volume is fuller at the bottom and slimmer on top.

"In your case, the contour bras is a pretty good option."

She also said "moulded bras" are great as "even when you are not wearing them, the cup is going to hold its shape."

Shape 7 – Asymmetrical breasts

Best bra: Removable Pads

If you look in the mirror and your boobs are not exactly the same size don't panic as this is very common.

Chi Li said: "If your girls look different on each side – either because of the shape or size – then the best options for you are the bras with removable pads.

"You really just need one pad and put it on the side to add volume or reshape.

"Your girls will look more even in its shape."

Shape 8 – Shallow breasts

Best bra: Demi Bra

Finally, Chi Li gave her advice for "shallow boobs" which lack volume on top.

She advised that demi bras are the way forwards.

The fashion whizz explained: "This is a type of plunge bras, the height of the cups is shorter and that is why they can push your girls towards each other and give you that lifted and fuller look.

"You can also go with padded demi bras and give you that even bigger boost."
