AN interiors expert has revealed the three worst things to have in your bedroom, as they could be affecting your sleep and even wrecking your sex life.

The woman took to her Healthy Home Harmony TikTok page to share a video explaining the "three things I will never allow in my bedroom as a feng Shui expert".

She kicked off her list with a television.

"First is a TV because the screen acts like a mirror, bouncing energy all around the room at night resulting in poor quality sleep and health problems," she said.

"And it can also cause intimacy problems between a couple."

The second is plants, which she said have "way too much Yang energy for a bedroom, which is meant to be a calm, soothing, quiet Yin environment".

"So if you’re not sleeping well, this could be why."

Yang energy can be described as fast-moving, loud, active, and brightly lit, while yin energy is more passive, feminine and cool.

Likewise, she advises against putting a fish tank in your bedroom – for the same reasons.

"Yeah they might look cool but again there’s way too much Yang energy," she said.

"And you need to be really careful with where you put moving water in your home because you might accidentally activate negative energy."

"Avoid these for good sleep, health and relationships," she captioned her video.

"The way ALL of these images gave me anxiety, could feel how these 3 would make me feel being in a room like that," one person commented on the clip.

"I have a mirror on my dresser and I hate it," another added.

"Mirror is the number one, I think," a third wrote.
