I’m an organising pro – here’s the best way to organise your fridge so that your food will last longer | The Sun

ARE you storing your food correctly? One home organiser has shared her simple guide to organising your fridge and getting the most out of your food.

Tanya is a home organiser and cleaning fan and in a recent video she shares a helpful guide on how to store food in your fridge.

She said: “How do you store your freshly brought groceries in your refrigerator? Do you store them anywhere they fit, make space where needed or cram things so far back you forget they are even there.”

Tanya explained: “This is probably the biggest contributor to food wastage. The food ends up spoiling quicker, and thus, we end up throwing things out quicker. Isn't science cool?”

Tanya says with the cost of living crisis looming storing your food correctly has never been more important.

She said: “No judgements here. We are all guilty of doing this, including me what do they say "new year new me". I hate wasting food anyway, but it feels particularly wrong knowing that we are in a cost of living crisis. "
