I'm fat and proud – this year is my hot girl summer… men make their crude comments but it's because they fancy me | The Sun

A SELF-STYLED Fat Girl who is fed up with being treated like a “second-class citizen” because of her weight is hitting back at trolls.

Influencer Abby Bible is a size 22 who "knows she's hot" and loves slipping into skimpy outfits.

She refuses to cover her body up and proudly sports micro-bikinis whenever she gets the chance.

“Just because you’re thin, doesn’t mean you’re better than me,” the 25-year-old said. “I am an unapologetic fat girl.

“You can take it or leave it because I’m always going to be happy with myself.”

Cruel trolls have told Abby to stop dressing in her flamboyant style and to put on a pair of Spanx.

A personal trainer she hired when she was younger even told her she needed to lose weight if she wanted to find a man.

However, Abby proved the PT wrong and has been with her “sweet” boyfriend for over a year now.

Measuring at 6’1 tall, she says that she has “been big her entire life” and bullies at school would call her “Fat Abby”.

“As a teen I had accepted that I would never be seen as ‘feminine’ because the media tells us we must be small, dainty, cute and soft-spoken,” she admitted in a recent Instagram post.

Abby’s body positivity activism saw her land a slot on Dr Phil to talk about the subject she is so passionate about.

“I’ve struggled with my weight since my childhood,” she said in a confessional for the American daytime show. “At the age of 14, I was about 200lb.

“I had this personal trainer that was not very nice. They’d tell me if I wanted friends I’d need to lose weight, that no-one would ever love me if I’m fat.”

At one point, Abby, from New York, lost over 100lb and brought her weight down to 17 stone.

However, she said it “didn’t solve any of her problems” and she was still unhappy “having the body everyone wanted”.

The influencer reinforces her message online by reminding other women that plus-size bodies are "hot" and "look good in a bikini".

Abby is unfortunately the victim of relentless trolling online for her body positivity activism, which she puts down to “people hating fat people”.

“We don’t need to exist in smaller bodies to have a fulfilling joyful life,” she retaliated in one Instagram post. “Those memories with friends and family at the pool or beach are way more important than what your body may look like at this moment.

“Life does not magically begin when you lose weight. You’re valuable and worthy of a great life just as you are now.”
