I’m plus size & tried on three budget wedding dresses from ASOS to save cash on my big day, one totally blew my mind | The Sun

A BRIDE-TO-BE decided to save some cash on her big day by trying out ASOS wedding dresses.

Sophie Beresford, from the UK, is a size 16/18 and found four budget wedding dresses on ASOS to test out.

And fortunately, the fashion fan found one dress that will now make it to her wedding.

In a recent TikTok video, she said: "I may have ordered wedding dresses off of ASOS, I don't know what I'm doing anymore."

We all know buying a wedding dress can cost thousands of pounds, but fortunately, the likes of ASOS and Shein have lots of budget versions available.

The first dress Sophie picked up was £130 and featured a tule skirt and delicate lace body.

However, it wasn't off to a great start as Sophie couldn't do the zip up at the back.

"I don't feel like a bride in this, this isn't for me," she added.

The next dress Sophie tried on was a £190 fully sequined white number with a deep V-neck design.

"I actually really like this one, this is a good contender it's actually beautiful," she added.

"I'm going to say though, ASOS zippers are trash."

Sophie was clearly thrilled by the second dress as she looked at herself in the mirror in awe.

In part two of the haul, Sophie showed off one more dress, and she finally found the winner.

The first dress was a white embroidered gown with kimono sleeves that costs £195.

"This is giving boho vibes, this is stunning," said Sophie.

The embroidered sleeves also turn into a small cape at the back of the dress which the bride-to-be loved.

"I literally did not think these dresses were going to go this well," she exclaimed.

She then went to take it off, only to realise the cape and sleeves could be pulled forward to create the look of an entirely new dress.

"Oh my god, is this my wedding dress?" she pondered.

The videos have since gone viral with over 900k views and 35k likes.

People took to the comments section of the video to share their favourites.

Many agreed she had found her wedding dress and advised her to keep the sequin one as a reception dress.

One wrote: "2nd one as a reception dress??"

Sophie replied: "I was thinking that!"

Another person commented: "Lovely but the beaded sparkly one is AMAZING."

"2nd one is beautiful, I even like the open back even though it should be done up," penned a third.
