I'm plus-sized and did an ASOS haul – I’m sick of dresses with windows to my wobbly bits, there's a time and a place | The Sun

A PLUS-SIZED fashionista has been left questioning dresses with "windows to her flab rolls" after doing a huge ASOS haul.

Poppy Adams, who lives in Edinburgh, regularly delights her 143,000 followers with her shopping hauls and styling tips on Instagram (@poppyadams).

The glam body-positive influencer, originally from Essex, aims to inspire fans to "love and accept their bodies".

In a recent video, she revealed she had done an emergency ASOS order to find a wedding guest dress for this weekend.

The size 22 beauty said: "Strap yourselves in, we’re trying on wedding guest dresses and nothing says desperation more like a giant box from ASOS.

"I think there’s about 12 dresses in here, the wedding is in three days, let’s go."

She added: "I was throwing all sorts in my basket, so honestly it’s going to be a fun surprise for us all.

"I do have a back up dress that I already own that I have worn before if all else fails so I’m not that stressed about the situation.

"I’m just going to reserve all of my opinions until they’re on my body."

And Poppy was left bitterly disappointed by her haul – admitting she's going to wear the frock already hanging in her wardrobe.

The 31-year-old's boobs were on full display in one green dress, while another wine coloured one had her asking "do I look 60?"

A zebra print dress was ruled out for being more holiday vibes, two black frocks were "veering more towards a funeral" and leopard patterned options were not fancy enough.

Poppy also joked two cold-shouldered dresses were "giving 2010".

But her main gripe with the frock haul was cut out designs on the dresses.

Trying on a blue floral one, she insisted: "ASOS we need to have a chat babes, because who wants a window to my flab rolls? Because here it is."

She added: "I think I develop a different personality when I’m shopping online because this is the least me pattern ever.

"It’s like when you’ve been on Tinder for too long and start swiping on people you don’t even find attractive."

And two green dresses also shared the same detailing below the bust.

"This literally looks like I’ve just ripped it", Poppy fumed.

"Do I genuinely dislike myself? Because I’ve genuinely ordered another dress with flab roll windows.

"Now don’t get me wrong I love my flab rolls but there’s a time and a place to show them and it’s not at a wedding in winter."

Racking up 68,000 views on her video, Poppy later joked: "You can literally see the light dim from my eyes as this video goes on.

"You can’t win ‘em all girlies, looks like I’ll be wearing something I already own."

And her fellow plus-sized fashion fans can relate to her disappointing haul.

"Every curvy girl’s experience when trying to find an outfit that you have bought online", said one.
