The creamy drink, which is currently on sale for £6.99, is a blend of Irish whiskey, rich milk chocolate and salty-sweet peanut butter – what more could you ask for?

Perfect for the festive season, we also reckon it'd be a great addition for boozy iced coffees or even indulgent milkshakes, according to the discount supermarket.

Needless to say, the 12% bevvy has become a massive hit amongst chocolate lovers, who've said it's a ''need'' and not a want.

''I tried it, it’s so good!'' wrote one shopper on TikTok after @deals.dailyuk had shared the sweet news to fellow Aldi fans.

''I got this, the blond chocolate, and the tiramisu,'' another shared their mini bevvy haul.

''Just grabbed 2!'' someone else chimed in.

However, there were also a few shoppers who advised others to steer clear of the £6.99 find.

''It doesn’t taste like it at all, don’t waste your money,'' warned one disappointed social media user.

''It tastes nothing like peanut butter, it’s awful,'' a foodie chimed in.

If you're dashing to the stores this weekend to prepare for the Christmas feast ahead, make sure to pop into your local Marks & Spencer.

Here, shoppers recently discovered, you can bag a chic cocktail that's been said to taste like ''Christmas in a glass'' – and it's as ''cheap as chips''.

The new Christmas Cosmo Cocktail Drink, which sells for £5.50, is the perfect addition for the scrumptious feast.

The bargain tipple is made of zesty cranberry and pomegranate juice mixed with vodka – and those following a vegan lifestyle will be pleased to know it's plant-based too.

There's been a lot of ''hype'' around this tipple, which has already been dubbed ''the drink of Christmas''.
