Kate Middleton wears £549 Holland Cooper blazer for Royal Navy visit in Somerset

Never one to shy away from a challenge, Kate Middleton has arrived at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton in Somerset, where she’ll test her skills in a flight simulator.

For the occasion, the Princess opted for a monochrome look, wearing a £549 Holland Cooper double breasted blazer with gold buttons.

She wore it over a white t-shirt, black trousers and a pair of black Gianvito Rossi heels. She kept the look simple with some gold earrings and wore her hair down.

And the Duchess might get some new fashion inspo this week, as the world’s most iconic fashion houses descend on the capital for London Fashion Week.

Emilia Wickstead is showing her new collection this morning. The designer is another firm favourite of Kate’s – who wore of one of her A-line dresses so much that it was renamed the ‘Kate’ dress.

Back at the navy base today, Kate, who holds the title of Commodore-in-Chief of the Fleet Air Arm, will be shown around the base – one of the busiest military airfields in the UK.

She’s set to meet staff and crew, conduct training exercises and be shown some of the military helicopters.

She is then thought to be trying her hand at the Wildcat MK2 simulator, which aircrew use to practice flying over land or on ships.

The station also holds significance for the Royal Family, as it’s the base where King Charles underwent helicopter flying training in 1974.
