Meghan showed off arms and shoulders in iconic gown – stylist’s ‘favourite’

Meghan Markle has always been stylish, from her days as an actress on Suits to her place in the Royal Family.

Whether it’s red carpet glam or casual chic, the Duchess is very fashion-forward and on the pulse of trends.

Personal stylist Melissa Lund spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about two Meghan style looks she describes as her “favourites”.

In both looks she was a big fan of the neck and shoulder cuts which beautifully accentuated her toned arms.

Melissa praised Meghan’s wedding reception dress, a Stella McCartney creation.

A statement from Kensington Palace reported that it was a “bespoke lily white high neck gown made of silk crepe”.

Meghan paired this dress with stunning and intricate Aquazurra shoes made from silky satin with nude mesh. For an added touch the soles were painted baby blue.

The stylist also praised Meghan’s 2018 Fashion Awards outfit, a black one-shoulder Givenchy gown.

The bespoke dress designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy was made with black velvet.

She accessorised with gold heels which looked to be the Tamara Mellon Karat Gold Strappy Heels.

Melissa Lund gave her verdict on when Meghan’s looks are a style hit, stating: “I love Meghan in slim-fitting clothes in neutral colours.

“I think it’s when things get too busy that she’s in danger of having the clothes wear her, instead of the other way around. She looks great in clothes which are cut close to the body – a sheath dress, slim pants, a tailored blazer or coat.”
