THERE'S nothing quite as annoying as discovering a stray tissue has been forgotten about in your clothes after they've been washed.
We all know we should be checking our pockets before clothes go in the washing machine, but it's so easy to forget.
So what should you do if you do forget about the tissue in your pocket and leave it in the washing machine?
A good shake of the clothes can go a long way, but it probably won't get rid of the smaller, more annoying bits.
Fans of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch shared some of the best hacks to remove the those leftover bits of tissue from your clothes and it turns out it's easier to do than you might think.
Posting on the Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It Facebook page, one keen cleaner asked for the "best way to remove tissue from a pocket that has gone through the washing machine."

Some suggested usinga lint roller to get rid of any large chunks quickly.
Another recommended wrapping tape "around your hand and rub over it," in a pinch.
Someone else agreed: "How about winding Sellotape around your fingers, sticky side outermost and circulate/rub around the inside of your pocket."
But one cleaning fan suggested using a toothbrush to get rid of the smaller bits that won't budge.

They said: "I've found that using a dry clean toothbrush, the bog standard ones you can buy in a pack of four, worked wonders for getting all the tissue out."
The toothbrush method is great for getting into deep pockets to remove gross tissue as well, thanks to the longer handle.
You don't have to use your own toothbrush though, make use of an old one, or grab a cheap one to get the job done.
And if you don't fancy using a toothbrush, another Mrs Hinch fan revealed that rubber gloves do the trick as well.
"Try a Marigold rubber glove they are great for removing hair, dandruff, fluff and stuff from your clothes," they wrote.
