Mum makes balloon arch for just £12 after being quoted over £240 – it's so easy, anyone with no experience can do it | The Sun

A CRAFTY mum has revealed how you can make a posh balloon arch on a tight budget – and according to her, there's no experience needed.

Savvy parent Bruna decided to get all crafty after being quoted an astronomical £326 for a professionally made balloon arch for her daughter's birthday.

Rather than forking out the eye-watering sum, Bruna snapped up a few essentials for the DIY project and demonstrated just how easy the process was on her TikTok page.

The first step, she proudly shared in the video, was inflating two balloons of the same size and knoting them together in the middle.

You can do this either manually or by using a balloon inflator, or a pump, which can be purchased on Amazon, as well as Argos and other popular retailers.

Once you've made all the sets, you then connect two together by twisting them around one another.

For the ultimate party effect your guests will certainly be very impressed by, Bruna also advised to add a smaller balloon to the cluster where possible.

She went on: ''Get a finishing wire and wind it in different directions around the centre of your balloon clusterm – keep adding.''

Whilst making the arch, the total of which cost her just £12, the DIY fanatic also chucked in a few extra balloons – these she added by using small glue dots.

Despite having no previous experience in such projects, Bruna was all chuffed with the final result, adding the process was relatively easy and straightforward.
