A nail tech spent four hours doing my basic white acrylics – they’re so bad, people say they look like Airpod cases | The Sun

WHEN it comes to nail designs, there are a whole host of different styles available.

But instead of asking her nail tech for anything fancy, a woman named Merel decided to play it safe and requested basic white acrylics.


However, four hours later and the nails she got ended up looking nothing like what she had asked for and have left many people in hysterics.

Not only this, but people were left so horrified by the nail fail, they joked that the nail artist should've been sent straight to 'jail' for the unforgivable offence.

In a clip shared to TikTok (@merelkempell8), Merel can be seen showing off the finished result.

"Asked for white acrylics…look at my cuticles," she says, followed by a crying face emoji.

Merel then shows a closer look of the monstrosity on the end of her finger tips, which feature nail extensions so thick and droopy that people have compared them to Airpod cases.

She also revealed the cuts that were left underneath her cuticles, presumably caused my rough nail filing.

Unsurprisingly, it wasn't long before the video went viral, garnering a whopping 46k views and several comments from horrified beautyfans up and down the country.

"Charge them and make a complaint she should get fired," wrote one.
