Mum-of-22 Sue Radford's New York Christmas trip hit with another huge setback which could end up costing a bomb | The Sun

YESTERDAY we saw mum-of-22 Sue Radford jet off to New York with three of her daughters for a festive trip.

While their holiday got off to a bumpy start, with the family missing their connection and almost missing another flight, it appears that things have gone from bad to worse.



Sue later took to her Instagram account to reveal that upon arriving in New York, for their festive trip that was booked as a surprise by her husband Noel, the family were hit with another huge setback. 

When Sue Radford, along with three of her daughters, touched down in the United States, at the JFK Airport, they got off the flight to find that their luggage was still in Heathrow. 

But this meant only one thing – a shopping trip.

Sue explained: “Not one suitcase came off the conveyor, they are all still in Heathrow.

“So first stop, buying new clothes and toiletries”.

Although the family have had a bit of a rough start to their December trip, mum of Britain’s largest family and her daughters haven't let it get them down. 

Sue and her husband Noel are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, nine, Hallie, six, Phoebe, five, Archie, four, Bonnie, three, and Heidie, one.

Sadly the couple's 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.

The family famously doesn’t rely on benefits and is supported by their pie shop business.

The Radfords, who live in a 10-bed former care home, often show off their millionaire lifestyle on Instagram.

Sue later posted some pictures and videos to her Instagram stories, as they drove around the big city, looking at high-rise buildings, designer shops and Christmas lights.

Their first stop, which was recommended by many of their fans, was the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights tour. 

The Dyker Heights Christmas Lights 2022 display has become one of the best New York attractions during the holiday season.

The streets were flooded with tourists admiring the beautiful Christmas trees and decorations, as the family stopped to watch thee stunning light display.

After stopping to buy toiletries and clothes for their trip, they then headed off to their hotel.

After a quick freshen up, the family were out again to look at more Christmas displays in a New York neighbourhood.

Sue was left very impressed at the dazzling display, as she said: “Wow, just wow”.

The festive spirit was certainly in the air as families gathered in the streets to look at the beautiful lights.

The Brooklyn neighbourhood is home to the most over-the-top Christmas light decorations with life-sized Santas, sleighs, snowmen and some houses even play Christmas carols from loudspeakers.
