FOR some of us, a Christmas tree just doesn’t fit in the corner of the living room, and so for years, we may have gone without. 

But thankfully one savvy mum has shared her cheap and easy hack for creating a Christmas tree on one of your walls. 



All you need is some hooks, garland and lights. Leftover baubles might help too. 

Various content creators often share their crafty hacks on the @diyonabudgetofficial TikTok with the page's 314,000 followers. 

In their recent video, one savvy mum shared her space-saving Christmas tree hack – and it won’t cost you more than £20. 

“This Christmas Tree is perfect for anyone with limited space.”

During the 30-second video, the content creator starts by sticking multiple Command Utility Hooks to the wall, outlining the shape of a Christmas tree. 

She then loops a green garland – tinsel could also work – through the hooks, stretching it from one side to the other.

String lights are placed over the top, following the same route as the garland. 

She then decorates the tree with bunches of faux berries.

Pine tree garlands are available from various retailers, including Hobbycraft, where prices start from just £6. The utility hooks are available for just £7.78. 

Fans loved the space-saving hack, with the video gaining more than 4,800 likes and 116,000 views.
