Mum stunned as £18 Lego set scans for £1.80 at Asda's tills so grabs even more | The Sun

SHOPPERS are racing to Asda to get their hands on a bargain buy your kids will love.

This comes after a mum raved about nabbing a box of Lego for just £1.80, despite it usually being £18.

Posting in the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the mum shared a snap of the Minecraft The Bee Cottage she got her hands on.

"No ticket on the shelf but when scanned came up as this so of course I went back for some more which will be given as gifts," she said.

The Lego set is usually priced at £18 in the supermarket, so other shoppers were impressed with her find.

One said: "Why do I never find these bargains!"

Meanwhile, other keen money-savers tagged their friends and family to let them know about the mega reduction.

"We've both wanted this for ages," one commented.

"This is good," another wrote.

But not everyone was convinced the reduced price would be the same for every store.

"It’s £18 on Asda Online so I suspect an Asda employee has put a decimal point in the wrong place," someone mused.

"Another agreed: "This is probably a mistake linked to that one store.

"I've found sometimes you get lucky on items and whomever inputs the price puts the decimal point in the wrong place."

That said, the mum showed off her receipt, showing she bought the set from Chapeltown, Sheffield, but another shopper in Leicester said they got it for the same price.
