A WOMAN was left stunned after her boyfriend popped the question at a bus stop – and there's a very sweet reason behind the proposal spot.
Hannah Dobson was walking with boyfriend Dominic along Pilrig Street in Edinburgh when he pulled out a ring yesterday.
It comes almost six years after the couple met at the same spot in Leith.
Speaking about the proposal, Hannah said: “My boyfriend Dominic and I met five-and-a-half years ago at the bus stop on Pilrig Street.
“We took a long while to get the courage to talk to each other but when we finally did, it was on the number 11 bus.
“Today he went and decorated the stop where we met and proposed. I said yes.”
Romantic Dominic decorated the bus stop with an oversized wreath and candles in lanterns to make the moment extra special.
After hearing about the use of their bus stop, Lothian Buses said: "Well, this has fair warmed our hearts.
"Huge congratulations to Hannah and Dominic from all at Team Lothian, and thank you for sharing this lovely moment with us."
And social media users can't get enough of the sweet proposal.
