My cheap and easy hack will make your house smell so good – it's a unique way to distribute your fave essential oil | The Sun

A CLEVER creator has shared the affordable way she deters unpleasant smells in the home.

She demonstrated the quick and easy hack, and revealed the small item she uses to pull it off.

"Try this hack!" started off the video by TikToker Martine (@martinedelasoul).

"All you need is a couple of felt pads and your favorite essential oil."

Martine opted for Super Sliders, $7.99, a popular brand of felt furniture pads made for protecting hard surfaces against scratches.

Her essential oil of choice was the Red Berry and Oak version of the Better Homes & Gardens Universal Fragrance Oil, $7.

She continued: "You take off the backing. You stick it wherever you'd like."

In the video, Martine could be seen applying her felt pad to the back of a cabinet.

"Add a couple drops of the essential oil, and your house will be smelling so good," she added while demonstrating the second step.

Commenters were amazed by how smart and simple the TikToker's hack appeared to be.
