FROM weight to hair colour, there are various things that kids are bullied for by cruel kids at school.
But one mother has vented her frustration after finding out her young daughter Marian is being teased by a boy at nursery for not having a "real" name.
Taking to Reddit, the anonymous woman penned: "My five-year-old daughter's name is Marian and there's a boy in her kindergarten class who keeps telling her that her real name is Mary because Marian isn't a real name.
"I've told her about Robin Hood and her princess name, and that there are lots of variations of her name in every country."
The concerned mother went on to say that her daughter is aware she was named in honour of her "aunt Mary" – adding that she wanted her to have her own "special name" and be her own "special self."
She also noted that the kid who keeps telling her daughter that her name isn't real is called 'Grayson.'

"As someone who was around quite a bit of name-based teasing as a kid, most of my time here is spent letting people know when their proposed name leaves a wide opening for a nasty kid," wrote one.
