My nail polish trick will give you a perfect manicure – it makes touch-ups easy when you paint outside the nail | The Sun

WHILE doing your own manicures is a sure way to save money, most of us don’t know how to do it right.

One nail polish expert said he found the ideal tool that means you get the perfect finish every time.

TikToker and self-proclaimed “nail babe” Abe (@abe.nailbabe) loves the look and feel of a good manicure, but knows it’s not easy to achieve.

In one video, however, he said his tool means you’ll slowly become an expert.

“How to use a clean up brush to get a perfect manicure, even when you paint outside the lines,” the beauty guru claimed.

All you need is a small cup of acetone, lint-free wipes, and a clean-up brush – with his choice being an $8 one from the brand Ella + Mila.

After getting some excess polish on the skin surrounding the actual nail, he revealed how to fix it.

“Start by dipping the brush in the acetone and tapping off the extra,” he said, dabbing the brush on the wipes.

“Then swipe away the polish on your skin, and clean the brush in between swipes in the acetone.”

As for why you should tap away the excess acetone on a wipe before targeting your finger, this will help prevent flooding your cuticle with the liquid.

Abe advised working slowly and only aiming to take off a small amount of polish at a time to keep it in check.

“The rounded tip on this brush makes it great for scrubbing the polish off your skin.

“It definitely takes practice but the more you do it, the better you get.

“And it’s definitely worth it for a perfect manicure.”
