Parents are racing to Asda to get their hands on a reduced kids staple that's perfect to put away for Christmas | The Sun

IT'S still 144 days until Christmas.

But savvy parents are already stocking up on gifts for their little ones, with Asda their latest port of call.


Jaye was one of the lucky mums who spotted reduced Lego sets at her local supermarket – Asda Morley Superstore in Leeds.

She took to the Extreme Bargains and Couponing group on Facebook to share pictures of the shelves, which were stacked with countless sets – all with massive reductions.

"Asda reduced Lego sets," Jaye wrote.

"I have also seen these in Asda living at Crown Point in Leeds!

"So hopefully it's in all Asdas."

Among the sets on offer were Elsa's Castle Courtyard, reduced to £3.15 from £8.99, and Anna's Castle Courtyard on sale for an incredible £1.12 instead of £8.99.

The Minecraft Coral Reef set was £4.50 instead of £8.99, while a Lego Technic Megladon was among the biggest on sale – for £9 instead of £17.99.

If your little one is a Lego Friends fan, there's a Turtle Protection Vehicle set for £2.75 instead of £8.99.

There's also a Lamborghini car set for £10 instead of £19.99.

Other parents were quick to comment on Jaye's post, with one tagging their friend and writing: "I’m thinking Christmas. If you are in Asda please grab me some bits."

"If this was our Asda I wouldn’t walk I’d run," another added.

While a third also tagged friends, writing: "If either of you see any reduced Lego on your travels could you grab some please I’ll put it away for Christmas."

"They were still £7-12 in my asda for the little legos! I've been looking all over for some," someone else wrote.

"Could be worth storing away for Christmas," another added.
