A WOMAN has shared how she keeps her volumised all day using her easy 'lock in curls' method.
Ally Lindgren, from the US, shared the simple hack on TikTok and people claimed it 'changed their lives.'
Ally, a hair and beauty whizz has gained over 250k followers and over four million likes on the video sharing app.
In a recent video, the beauty and hair whizz revealed how she keeps her curls locked in all day while adding more volume to the ends of her hair.
She said: "I want to show you how you can go from waves like this to having this like big, voluminous hair – and it's called locking your curl."
Ally first curls her hair and then takes a hairbrush to comb through it and part it into two sections.

She then takes each 'lump' of the curl and places the hairbrush underneath each one and brushes up into each 'lump.'
she uses the same technique to create the same volume with the hair framing her face.
"I call this locking my curls, and once you get all the shape that you want, hairspray it and you're good to go," she added.
This backcombing technique helps your hair keep the curl for longer while adding volume.

Ally captioned the post: "I’ve never gotten more compliments one my hair until I started doing this.
"It makes it look like you have 3x the hair you actually have. Big voluminous hair hack."
The video soon went viral with over xx views and over 15,000 likes and people quickly took to the comments section to share their thoughts.
Many said the hack was a gamechanger, but others thought it would just create tangles and breakage.
