PEOPLE are just realising the truth about how sliced ham is really made and it’s so disgusting, they’ll never eat it again.
A video has surfaced giving shoppers a peek inside a food factory where pink ‘sludge’ is heated and sliced into luncheon meat – and people can’t believe it’s real.
The discovery comes days after we discovered the horrid truth about how pre-packaged sandwiches are made using huge blocks of ham, suction machines and melted butter.
It’s made people question what we’re really putting into our bodies and which food is truly safe to eat.
But according to viewers, the truth about sliced ham is even worse.
A woman called Tantie unearthed the vile clip, captioning the post on her social media: “I don’t want to believe this.”

The clip begins with a view of a huge pot of what looks like strawberry ice cream.
A factory worker, dressed in a protective suit and blue gloves, uses a small spatula to scrape blobs of the mystery material into a big yellow tub.
The masked man, who also wears a safety apron and bright white boots, uses a nozzle machine to transfer the pink sludge like a Mr Whippy into individual loaf-shaped tins.
He slams each tin onto the surface to flatten the mixture and puts them all in the oven.

The pink mixture is finely cut into slices of processed luncheon meat.
It’s not the first time we’ve learned something new about our food.
Brits recently discovered the morbid reason behind the name of Snickers bars, with one outraged reader commenting: “I think you’ve just ruined everyone’s childhoods.”
Seven million people have tuned in to watch in horror at how factories produce our sliced ham, and it’s changed our minds about processed meat for good.
One disgusted user said: “At this point I can’t eat anything anymore.”
A second replied: “I give up, I’m just going to be hungry.”
A third commented: “What in the Ghostbusters pink slime surprise is that?”
A fourth exclaimed: “I thought it was frosting, then ice cream, then bread, then this.”
Another viewer was so shocked, she’s ready for the apocalypse to strike.
