Royal fans swoon over the Grenadier guards at the Queen’s funeral – as some say they were all they could focus on | The Sun

IT was apparently "the biggest live TV event in history".

And while people around the world tuned in to Queen Elizabeth II's funeral to bid a final farewell to the late monarch, it was the Grenadier guards carrying her coffin that caught the attention of many viewers.




Courtney Palmer-Jone took to TikTok to share a clip from her television, of the guards holding the coffin.

She captioned it: "With all due respect ma’am, the gentleman who carried you to lay to rest were.

"I was watching respectfully."

"Apparently they were specifically chosen by the Queen herself, Lizzie had good taste," one person commented on the video.

To which Courtney wrote: "She knew what a nation likes."

Meanwhile, Emily Everitt shared a video of herself watching the funeral, saying: "Don't change the channel".

"What do you like about watching the funeral?" she teased someone asking, to which she showed pictures of the pallbearers.

"We all have crush on pallbearers," another wrote.
