IT can feel almost impossible to air dry your washing indoors as temperatures plummet outside.
And your clothes horse can take up unnecessary space in your home – cluttering up either the hallway, spare room or corners of your main rooms.
But one savvy dad has shared a genius hack to dry your clothes quicker while also saving space.
John, 54, shared his recommendation for using the "dead space" above your stairs to create a wall mount for your airer.
Taking to the Dull Men’s Club Facebook group – a public page that boasts 421,000 members – he said: "Have you ever noticed the draught on your stairs, the rush of warm air from downstairs to upstairs?
"It's like a breeze.
"Hang washing in this space that is unused.
"Dries in no time… for free!
"These [clothes horse] always seem to be in the road no matter where you put them but not in this dead space."
John's TIP quickly went viral, racking up more than 14,000 likes and 2,500 comments.
