A DIY whizz showed how she transformed a cheap rattan basket from Ikea into a chic coffee table with some simple DIY work.
Lore has been flooded with praise after revealing the clever way she jazzed up the £25 'Snidad rattan basket' from popular Swedish furniture store, Ikea.
In the clip posted to TikTok (@lorehomeliving), she begins by noting how she purchased the rattan basket in the size 32 x 12.
The basket, which is hand-braided, features stunning fine details and a beautiful shape – leading Lore to conclude that the design would lend itself perfectly to a swish new coffee table.
She then removes the handles and flips the basket upside down.
Next, the DIY whizz sands down a piece of round wood, which will soon because the table top, before painting it with wood stain.

Lore then neatly applies glue around the edge of the base of the basket.
Finally, she carefully places the piece of round wood on top of the glue and weighs it down with weights in a bid to hold it in place.

The post quickly went viral, racking up a whopping 451k views and several comments from very impressed social media users.
