Sophie, Countess of Wessex and Prince Edward were photographed as they arrived at the Royal Albert Hall, in London, for the Royal Variety Performance 2022. To attend the glamorous event, Sophie opted for a breathtaking floor-length gown.

Sophie donned a shimmering white lace gown with silver detail from ERDEM Lindsay which she combined with a sparkling silver clutch bag.

For jewellery, she sported a pair of diamond and sapphire drop earrings and styled her hair in an elegant and chic low updo.

The Countess looked beautiful in the stunning gem-embellished dress, which retails for £2,895, and Prince Edward looked very elegant in a black tuxedo on the red carpet.

Royal fans presented Sophie with flowers and everybody seemed delighted to see her tonight.

The pair were later pictured standing on the balcony of the Royal Albert Hall singing the national anthem before the show.
