Sophie, Countess of Wessex, was pictured this afternoon alongside Queen Camilla, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Queen Rania of Jordan, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and First Lady of Sierra Leone, Fatima Maada Bio. She looked elegant in a white blouse and black trousers.

The group met today as part of the UN 16 days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.

For the occasion, Sophie donned a white blouse with a high, round collar.

This was a loose blouse with full sleeves, however the most interesting element of the piece was its unique sleeves.

These were in peplum style, flaring out towards and over the wrists.

The blouse was very loose however the royal tucked it into a pair of high-waisted trousers for a cinched in effect.

The satin material of the shirt created a dynamic contrast with the structured, straight-leg trousers.

Sophie’s trousers were entirely plain aside from five silver rhinestones on one side where a belt would typically be.

Because her trousers were very long her shoes were left to the imagination.

But in keeping with royal fashion, we can expect they would be a pair of classic heeled pumps.

As for accessories, Sophie supplemented her chic, minimalistic outfit with some simple gold jewellery.

The Countess opted for a pair of gold drop earrings and a gold pendant.

This appeared to be the Cassandra Goad ‘Love the life you live, live the life you love’ quote necklace.
