The £2 trick to clean a grim loo according to Mrs Hinch fans… and they ought to know | The Sun

MRS HINCH fans have come to the rescue of a person who was left stumped over the stains in her toilet bowl.

They took to social media to share a photo of the offending marks before pleading with cleaning gurus for their tips and tricks.

Explaining that they’d already tried everything to try and get it off, they had no choice but to seek help from others who might have a better idea.

“Please can anyone help I have tried most things to try & remove these stains from the toilet but it seems impossible,” they wrote.

“No stains in the bowl itself!”

The photo showed the near-pristine white toilet with dark yellow streaks going towards the bottom of the bowl.

While a third posted: “I used when my toilet was much worse than that, yes I had to do a few applications, wear gloves and keep your face away from the liquid but my loo looks like new.”

One shared: “Try pumice stone on handle, bought mine from Amazon. Hard work but eventually got stains off. Good luck our house had been empty for four years and accumulated these stains from hard water on both toilets”.

A second chimed: “Pumice stone would do the trick”.

While a third posted: “I recently bought an item from Amazon which is a slim rectangular piece of pumice stone on a handle, for cleaning my toilets which have similar stains. Does the trick!”
