A DIY TikToker has taken her patio from plain to posh with a Walmart budget buy that is also baby-proof.
The mom-turned-home decor expert (@lauraxfitmom) showed followers just why her outdoor space was in need of a major makeover.
"I'm showing you what we did on the patio, this is what it looked like before," she explained, as she gave a view of the mostly empty area.
With some faux grass from Walmart and an easy hack, the boring space was about to achieve wow factor status.
"We bought three rolls of faux grass from Walmart," Laura explained.
Altogether, the patio makeover mom purchased two large rolls for $100 each, and a smaller roll for $50, all from a brand called Luxeturf.
For a total of $250, the space was transformed into faux fabulousness.
She explained her step-by-step process to getting her posh patio:
"We rolled all of them out, I cut each of them to fit into a place," she said, using a boxcutter.
The DIY TikToker also pointed out a $3 wooden sign, that said hi with flowers on it, that she purchased in the clearance section, to add some extra fun to the faux grass-covered space.

As an added bonus, the patio is now babyproof.
The excited mom showed off her little one gliding over the grass in her baby walker.
This turf transformation has even given the child a more enjoyable outdoor experience.
The baby can be seen joyfully playing with her ball and other toys.
"She has so much fun, it's cushy, just in case she falls, so it's now baby proof and I can relax," she explained.
Walmart certainly added a wow factor to the once drab-looking outdoor space which now has colorful chairs and even plants and orchids sprouted around.
The mom also had another satisfied customer – her very happy husband.
"I think it's safe to say that babe likes the new patio grass," she exclaimed, as her husband could be seen snoozing away on a blanket, with a colorful brimmed hat over his face.

"We have a little patio garden and want to put turf down, but renting. How did you stick it or make sure no one falls/trips," asked one follower.
"We didn't put anything down. The chairs and stuff we have pretty much keep it in place! But other people I saw used Command Strips!"the DIYer responded.
