FOR foodies, Christmas is all about indulging in heaps of hearty dishes – and what better way to celebrate the festive season than with a juicy pork belly.

But as much as we love the dish, preparing pork belly can also be time-consuming – luckily, there is an easy way to speed up the process.

A group of foodies, from Australia, claimed you can make the festive classic in less than half an hour using an air fryer.

The step-by-step recipe was shared on TikTok and the team at Fabulous will definitely be giving it a go over Christmas.

According to taste.com.au (@taste.com.au), all you need is some pork belly, salt, oil spray, a few apples, as well as all the necessary ingredients for the festive glaze.

Once done, chuck it into your air fryer before spraying oil on top and cooking it at 200C for 25 minutes.

This, the Aussies said, will ''get the crackling going''.

If you're a fan of sweet apples to go with the meat, place four – or as many as you want – inside and cook for another minutes (but reduce the temperature to 160C).

Whilst these are cooking, prepare the glaze – for this, you will need to mix maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, sugar, mustard and mixed spice.

If you're after some more Christmas recipes using air fryer, then look no further – these sweet Yorkshire puddings are sure to be a hit amongst your guests.

For this, depending on how many hungry eaters there are, you'll need Yorkshire puddings, raspberries, Biscoff spread, a bit of powdered sugar and the star of the show – air fryer.

As demonstrated in the step-by-step tutorial, start by chucking your puds into the appliance for four minutes at 200C.

Whilst they're cooking, add a punnet of fresh raspberries to a shallow bowl and mash them with a fork.

Once the Yorkshire puddings are ready fill them with the mashed raspberries and add a generous drizzle of melted Lotus spread – the more, the better, of course.

To make sure the spread's set and not making a mess everywhere, place the tray inside the fridge for 30 minutes.
