THERE are strict fashion rules when it comes to a wedding – don’t wear white and don’t upstage the bride.
But one guest may be falling foul of one of them, as she’s planning on wearing a slinky blue dress with a plunging neckline and a train – to her brother’s wedding.
Her sister has sought advice over the outfit, explaining her sibling is known for dressing a little risqué, and is rarely modest.
Sharing a photo of the dress on Wedding Bee, the woman wrote: “My sister wants to wear this dress to our brother’s wedding this summer.
“Ceremony will be outside and reception inside a ballroom, the weather will be hot.
“She typically dresses like this, low cut outfits and is thin like the model, not huge boobs where it will be a distraction.

She confessed her sister had asked her if she thought the dress was appropriate, and she initially said it might work.
The woman continued: “She asked me if I thought it was okay, I’m not sure…. What do you think?
“I personally am not sure about having a train at someone else’s wedding”
Despite adding it will be a “high class” wedding at a “five star resort”, people overwhelmingly said the dress was inappropriate.
People have branded it “cheap” and little more than “lingerie”, adding they can see the model’s bellybutton.
One person said: “Umm, it looks like lingerie and I really don’t think it’s appropriate.”
Another person said: “That is too much skin. It also looks cheap to me.”
A third wrote: “Nope the fabric looks like a nightie to me.”
Someone else commented: “You don’t wear dresses with a train to a wedding that’s not yours.
“You don’t wear a silk-lingerie-skin-baring dress to an outdoor wedding, regardless of the reception site.”
This person added: “Even the model, who is likely rain-thin, is showing her belly button through the dress. I agree with the sentiment that it looks cheap.”
The £164.63 blue gown is called Isabella by Abyss by Abby, and the website says the frock is made with a “sexy bra-let shape to the top”, and is meant to give you an “hourglass shape”.
