She was born on New Year's Day in 1978 and is the second child of Camilla.
She had a privileged childhood, growing up at Bolehyde Manor and later Middlewick House, both in Wiltshire.
Laura attended St Mary's Shaftesbury, a Catholic girls' boarding school, and Heywood Preparatory School.

In 2006, Laura married Harry Lopes in Wiltshire.
Laura wore an Anna Valentine dress for her big day – the very same designer worn by her mother Camilla when she married Prince Charles in 2005.

He attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and served for 34 years in the military.
In 1960 he was commissioned into the Royal House Guards and from 1967 to 1969 he was the adjutant of the troop.
On December 31, 1971, he was promoted to major before becoming the Commanding Officer of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment from 1981 to 1983.
Andrew was the commander in charge during the Regents Park Bombings, where men and horses were killed and injured by a terrorist bomb.
He was also awarded the Queen's Commendation for Bravery in Zimbabwe.
On December 27, 1994, he retired from the Army, holding the title brigadier.

After she finished university she began managing the Space Gallery in London.
She then co-founded Eleven, a fine art gallery in Belgravia in 2005.
