Woman proudly reveals DIY home arch – but people say it looks straight out the 1980s… so what do YOU think? | The Sun

A SAVVY woman has revealed how she installed arches into her home on a whim using her DIY skills.

Taking to her social media, Alaina Kathleen explained that it was a “very impulsive” decision but she couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

She started off by cutting two half circles out of the walls and sanded all the edges down.

Once this part was done, she took wooden pallets and installed those into the space between the wall and fiberglass.

She then placed the pieces of wall that she cut out into the hollowed space and nailed it in place.

The DIY enthusiast then completed the arch and sanded it down one more time before filling in the spaces to finish it.
