You could be a lifeguard if you can spot the drowning kid in this video before it's too late | The Sun

SHOCKING footage shows how easy it is to miss a child drowning in a busy swimming pool.

In a large pool, seemingly filled with people of all ages and about two dozen blue inflatable rings, one child can be seen bouncing up and down in the water trying to catch a breath.

The child, who appears to be a boy, was bobbing in and out of the water, reaching his arms over his head.

When he gets to the nearest inflatable ring, the other boy inside the floaty device slips out.

However, the boy isn't able to grab onto the floaty and appears to touch the other boy for a second.

At that point, one lifeguard jumps to his rescue.

But seconds later, the boy who was originally in the inflatable ring also struggles to stay about the water and starts to drown, prompting another lifeguard to rush in.

Both children are then escorted to safety.

The footage was shared by Lifeguard Rescue on TikTok earlier this week.

In response to the video, one person commented: "When you try to save someone, they will do anything to stay above water.
