You've been doing your dressing gown curls all wrong – the right way makes them look so much better and bouncier | The Sun

THEY were all the rage a few years ago, with celebrities, like Dany Dyer, praising the genius hack.

The famous dressing gown curls, which took over our social media feeds in 2020, are back – and this time, bouncier than ever.

Back then, we were taught to perform this magic trick to stunning curls with damp hair, which we'd carefully wrap around our dressing down.

But now, according to one beauty lover, the right trick means following the same steps – but with dry hair.

Like many, Ellie Mae Grady, used to give herself the curls of her dreams with wet hair, which she'd sleep with overnight.

That is, until countless people pointed out the hack works better on dry hair.

''I did it on dry hair and we're gonna look at the results,'' she exclaimed in a video.

Gently unwrapping her blonde locks, Ellie said she was nervous but excited at the same time.
