IF you’ve always loaded your tortilla wrap filling in the middle, you wouldn’t be alone.
But a foodie has revealed that her friend taught her the right way to do it – and this method is strictly forbidden.
TikTok user KC, who can be found at @katiec373, shared how her friend and housemate previously worked in Nando’s and was taught their foolproof way of making and folding a wrap.
They then passed the restaurant’s secrets on to KC and she’s been following the step-by-step guide ever since.
And now wants everyone to know their foodie secret.
KC recorded a video titled “POV: Your housemate used to work at Nandos.”

She then jokingly captioned the post: “We’ll be hearing from Nando’s lawyers after spilling the tea.”
In the short clip, KC laid a tortilla wrap out on a plate and began to load her fajita filling.
However, she warned her social media followers: “Plot twist – don’t put your filling in the middle.”
She then showed the right method, as she spooned the chicken and veg mix onto one side of the tortilla so that it almost touched the edge of the wrap.

The next step was to add some lettuce and any other salad you want on top, plus cheese, before starting the rolling process.
KC then showed how you actually wrap it by first folding the bottom of the wrap upwards into the filling.
Next, she did exactly the same with the top, bringing it down to meet the other folded end.
While it looked as if the filling was about to spill over the sides and wouldn’t wrap properly, KC warned her followers to “trust the process.”
She then said the penultimate step – which she referred to as the “make of break” – was to tuck it tightly and start rolling one side into the other.
After rolling it over several times until it was tightly compacted and folded over underneath, KC said “that’s a wrap”.
And it seems like the tried and tested technique has got social media’s seal of approval.
The video has received thousands of likes with others looking like they’re going to follow in the foodie’s footsteps.
