I’m an air fryer whizz and I made the perfect roast potatoes for just 60p, you don’t even need to peel them | The Sun

IF you love roast potatoes, you need to try out this cheat’s method that helps make the dish even more simple to achieve.

Roast potatoes are a Sunday staple and loved by foodies across the UK.

But they’re difficult to master and always end up taking longer to cook than you might think.

Luckily, an air fryer is a very helpful gadget in speeding up the process as they’re great at getting food crispy.

Taking things a step further, TikTok user @megzhurstx decided to try out a method that will save you cash.

Instead of using potatoes you’d normally buy in a bag, she tried out peeled potatoes in water.

She tried the hack she’d seen demonstrated in another video which used the same ingredient.

Meg firstly drained the water out of the tin before adding the potatoes into the base of her air fryer.

Adding a couple of flavourings to the mix, she put garlic granules and salt in there too.
