TikTok stars rubbed shoulders with designers at a glitzy event celebrating the new names to watch on the British fashion scene. 

Creators Abby Roberts, Francis Bourgeois and Viktor Kunda joined Henry Holland at an event to celebrate the 2022/23 NEWGEN designers at an event at the NoMad Hotel in London last night. 

The rising stars being celebrated included NEWGEN designers Helen Kirkum, Alim Roker and Yuhan Wang.

The evening included a live acoustic performance from Izzi De Rosa and Jodie Harsh kept the beats coming with a DJ set. 

As community partner of BFC NEWGEN, TikTok is helping this next generation of British design talent reach an even bigger audience globally. 

This September for the first time ever, all NEWGEN catwalks were livestreamed from the show space, reaching a combined audience of over 167,000. 

Abby Roberts, from Coventry, was just 11 when she started posting make-up tutorials on YouTube.

In 2019, she began posting videos in TikTok on from her bedroom showing her make-up skills.

She is now one of TikTok’s biggest stars and looked typically fashionable as she attended last night’s soiree with her sister, Charlotte. 

Abby looked trendy in black jeans and a long-sleeved black t-shirt, which she layered under a tartan corset. She wore her blonde locks swept up into a low-key ponytail. 

Meanwhile Charlotte opted for a moody ensemble of a black tank top and grey asymmetric skirt.
