The price drop has seen shoppers rushing to add the laptop to their baskets, which has shot it to number #7 on the best-selling laptops list.
A decent laptop is essential for students, and this budget option comes with everything you'll need for success in the new term.

It comes with a huge 14-inch NanoEdge display, which we love to see on a laptop under the £200 mark.
The Vivobook will have no issues seeing you through your classes either: it's lightweight at just 1.3kg, so can slip in your backpack and crams 12 hours of battery life in too.
Better still, it operates on the latest Windows 11 system and comes with Microsoft Office 365 ready out of the box for 1 year.
While it could use more RAM, coming with just 4GB, it is a solid amount for the price point.
But it does feature a fanless design, so you don't have to contend with a noisy laptop that sounds as if it is about to take flight – something Apple's range of Mac laptops can't say.
We haven't tested the laptop for ourselves, but it earned a 4.2 out of 5 star rating from users on the Amazon website, with customers applauding it in the comments.
One happy customer commented: "This laptop is fantastic for doing little things, does not have enough RAM to do loads but still does really well.
"I am so impressed with it, the battery life is great and can last up to two days and charge in a few hours".
